“Good for you and our planet” is Boody’s motto, an eco-underwear brand founded by two best friends in 2011, Sydney Australia. Based on four key principles, ‘Sustainability, Ethics, Quality and Giving Back,’ what makes Boody unique is their choice of fabric – bamboo. The bamboo used to make the yarn for Boody eco wear is grown by the Hebei Jigao Chemical Fiber Company in China and uses considerably less water to produce - only 130 gallons of water to produce 3 pounds, whilst a shocking 5,000 gallons of water is used to make 2 pounds of cotton.
