LFW 2018: STARSICA SS19 Catwalk Show
STARSICA SS19 collection is named "Doctored Evidence: Be True to Yourself'. It is a story inspired by the current realities of life learned through a variety of different experiences. The designer was inspired by a 'Cabinet of Curiosities' concept where a variety of seemingly different objects and experiences are gathered together in a 'wonder room'.

The STARSICA catwalk show was my first fashion week show and I absolutely loved it. The SS19 collection ‘Doctored Evidence: Be True to Yourself’ is amazing. Designer Ike Seungik Lee started with the question “What if, the beautiful memories of the past which allowed me to be who I am today, are actually the outcome of manipulated evidence?”
The collection is a journey of searching for the truth of memories, and this was definitely shown throughout the show. It was more than a fashion show and rather a performance, as models danced and ‘searched’ down the catwalk. The collection included many tropical pieces, leopard prints, polka dots, bold colours and light-flowy fabrics. The pastel set against the greens and reds created an amazing colour palette that screamed spring. I loved how the separates and dresses were divided into multiple layers showing the flow of time. My favourite pieces was the pastel flowy separate and sheer mesh pastel dress. I also enjoyed Ike’s diverse selection of models, as he didn’t shy away from using and embracing their features.
